Ryan Feldman, Arden Cho, Tom Dwan and many others competed on Hustler Casino Live (HCL) this week as some huge pots saw a surprising winner. Tom Dwan was a big loser on the night as Ryan Feldman, who has often been on the wrong end of Lady Luck saw variance turn in his favor in Los Angeles.

Red Hot Action with Big Winners in Town 3q3z37

The action couldn’t have been hotter in Los Angeles as the HCL game returned to the screen for six hours of mayhem. Starting with the biggest stack was Ryan Feldman, who sat down with $200,000 in determined mood to increase his stack. Overall, that was by far the biggest stack to sit down with, as Tom Dwan sat with $50,000.

Other players in action included HCL favorite Britney, the well-known ‘winningest female player’ in history in the game format, and Hollywood actress Arden Cho, whose recent record in celebrity cash games. They sat down with $20,000 and $15,000 respectively, with blinds throughout set to $50/$100/$100, with the big blind paying the $100 ante.

It was a tough night for Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan, with the former Full Tilt Poker poster boy down over $62,000 on the night when play concluded. Poker vlogger Mariano, who is a Hustler Casino Live celebrity in his own right, lost the most of anyone who took part, however, dropping an astonishing $167,725 on the night.

Feldman Fills Up 1u1h3v

Ryan Feldman had previously endured some of the toughest nights in HCL history as he racked up the rather unwanted record of being the biggest loser in the game. Overall, the nevertheless vastly successful HCL executive producer had lost over $719,000 since playing in the regular live-streamed cash games since 2021.

All that changed on Wednesday as he rode his luck and cashed out almost a third of that sum in one night. On a board of 9-7-6-9-Q, Feldman’s ace-queen took a pot worth $104,000 from Tom Dwan, who held just king-six. That was a big win, but the biggest pot of the night was taken from the brilliantly profitable player Britney.

Feldman won the straddled pot after raising to $600 with pocket nines against Britney’s pocket aces. Britney three-bet to $3,000 and Feldman flat-called. It was Britney’s fourth occasion of picking up pocket aces on the night but it didn’t help her win the pot. A flop of 6-4-3 was no danger and she bet $,000, getting a call from Feldman, who was on course to lose a big pot once again. A nine of the turn changed all that, however, and Feldman scooped a huge one.

‘Karma Proved us Wrong’ 24471g

After running that pot twice with all the chips in on the turn, it made no difference. No ace came, and after the hand, HCL published the action on X.

HCL commentator Kyle Ravreby itted that after gently ribbing Feldman at multiple points both during the show and beforehand, he ended up with egg on his face.

“Everyone’s in shock, I’m in shock!” Ravreby laughed. “Earlier, I had the video team create a montage of all the times Ryan [has] lost. We kind of clowned on him. Well, karma has proven us wrong. He said, ‘No, I’m a winner, I’m gonna show you guys.’ If that’s what it takes for Ryan to win, we should just make a video of all his lowlights every time he’s going to play on the show!”

At the close of play, Feldman’s stack of $398,100 ($198,100 of that being profit) was by far the biggest at the table. All told, over $950,000 sat on the felt when six hours of action concluded, with Mariano’s $177,725 marginally more than Dwan’s stack of $112,275, which actually represented an acute six-figure loss.

With Alex Keating ing the All-Star Game on night #2, there is everything to play for as some of the biggest players in cash games around the world gather. Watch all the action from the first game in Los Angeles right here:
